We provide several services. Our website system is used to create publicly accessible web pages. The Chandler Site is a pta-to-home communication and collaboration service that helps teachers, school staff, and parents share information about PTA and other school-related information. The Chandler site also offers other resources to to all the different types of people who visit the site and/or who register on the website (collectively referred to hereafter as "Users"). The Chandler Site is provided by Click2Volunteer.com LLC and is subject to their privacy notice, which can be seen here.
 
This Privacy Notice details the use and disclosure by Chandler LA PTA of information submitted by Users to the the Chandler Site, as well as information collected by us and stored on the Chandler Site. Your use of the Chandler Site and any information you provide on the Chandler Site or to the Chandler Site remains subject to the terms of this Privacy Notice as well as to the Click2Volunteer.com LLC privacy policy referenced above.
 
If we decide to change our privacy practices, we will post those changes on this page and in the "News" section of the Home page of the Chandler site. Please check these pages for changes from time to time to make sure you are aware of our latest privacy practices.
 
Your Privacy
We recognizes that our Users value their privacy. We understand that when a User chooses to submits information to the the Chandler site, that User trusts us to act in a responsible manner. We provide this Privacy Notice to help you better understand how we protect the information submitted to the Chandler Site and who has access to the information posted by you or about you on the Chandler Site.
 
What Kind of Personal Information is Stored in the Service? Who has access to this information?
We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, fill out a form or enter information on our site.
The Chandler Site asks for a first name, last name, email address, User ID, and password when a User register with the site.  In addition, the Chandler Site may solicit additional personal information when Users seek to join the PTA or complete other online forms, including first and last name, email address, phone number, address, board position, volunteer position,child's name, teacher, grade, room #, User ID, user password, other fields identified in online forms.  
 
The following personal information may also be stored in the website: first and last name, email address, phone number, address, board position, volunteer position,child's name, teacher, grade, room #, User ID, user password (which is not viewable, but can be reset, by the administrator).   
Registered Users may update their account information to limit this personal information; however, first name, last name, and email address are required to maintain "registered" status.    
 
Click2Volunteer.com LLC staff have full access to all of the above information in order to provide the Chandler Site, including providing technical support. Anyone with administrative rights to the Chandler Site has access to all of the above information except passwords, which are not viewable, but can be reset, by the administrator. 
 
What Kind of Content is Stored in the Service? Who Has Access to this Content?
The Chandler Site gives certain Registered Users as designated by the webmaster the ability to submit "pending posts" for consideration to be published to the website.  At this time, only the webmaster and PTA Board Members have the ability to approve "pending posts" to actually publish them to the Chandler site. 
 
Additionally, certain pages may be limited to specific groups, such as the PTA Board, teachers/staff, or PTA committee members.  
 
Click2Volunteer.com LLC staff have full access to all of the above information in order to provide the Chandler Site, including providing technical support. Anyone with administrative rights to the Chandler Site also has access to all of the above information. 
 
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

• To personalize user's experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.
• To improve our website in order to better serve you.
• To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests.
• To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature.
• To quickly process your transactions.
• To send periodic emails regarding your order or other products and services.

This information helps us assess and manage the Chandler Site.

We have not enabled Google AdSense on our site but we may do so in the future.

California Online Privacy Protection Act
CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. We do not specifically market to children under 13.

Fair Information Practices
The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.
In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices we will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur:

CAN SPAM Act
The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.
We collect your email address in order to:
       Send information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.
       Process orders and to send information and updates pertaining to orders
       Market to our mailing list or continue to send emails to our clients after the original transaction has occurred
